There's Lots in Store for May 4 Annual Meeting
Doors open at 5 p.m., and the business meeting begins at 7 p.m.
Pre-meeting activities include entertainment by the talented Havelock High School Jazz Band and East Carteret High School Singers. The co-op’s Relay for Life fund-raising team will serve a light meal and offers tickets in a 50/50 drawing. Plus, the first 600 members who register at the meeting will get a gift, and all who register are eligible to win prizes at the end of the business meeting, including cash, up to $1,000 in electricity and a pickup truck retired from the co-op’s fleet.
In addition to the election results, the business meeting will honor our five scholarship recipients and include a brief overview of the co-op's Operation RoundUP program and its $3 million in giving.
This event is a great opportunity to learn about programs offered by CCEC and get to know your co-op staff. Our annual meeting makes it possible for us to gather feedback from you on how we can better serve you and your family. It’s also where we announce the results of the election for the board of directors. The annual election is one of the greatest benefits of being a member of an electric co-op.
